Goddamn thing keeps opening a new tab randomly and going to error404.com . I couldn't find anything on google too, or I didn't look deep enough. Nothing in the firefox config, and this doesn't happen in IE. Tried running a virus scan and MB, no leads. Any ideas?

what anti virus you use?

AVG has a dodgy redirect thing that opens new tabs in FF
