Diablo 3 FAQs



* Return to Sanctuary, the same world as the previous 2 games. The game takes place 20 years after Diablo 2.
* There are 5 character classes in the game. We know two so far: a new Witch Doctor class, and a completely redone Barbarian class. Male and female options for all classes.
* Havok-powered physics
* Building on previous random environments, Blizzard promises "a host of new ways to create random scripted events throughout the game."
* Upgraded Battle.net... Ya think?
* Deckard Cain returns, but is noted as the "first victim" of the new horrors
* Plan is to release the game "simultaneously in as many regions as possible, and to localize the game in several languages." The game will ship for Mac and Windows simultaneously.

Blizzard is fucking raping PC market right now.

They announced this game. They announced more huge improvements to SC 2 and some big BIG changes to WoW.

They are already dominating the MMORPG market and with SC@ they will continue their reign over the RTS market and when Diablo 3 comes out they once again grab the RPG market again.

Diablo 3 looks fucking insane in the graphics and if it plays half as good as 2 which i have friends that still play some 15 years later. It will be insane.

I gave up WoW because raiding the highest level of dungeons took way too much of my time but would be tempted to return with some of the changes they announced. I already will be picking up SC 2 and now I have to get Diablo 3 also. Holy Shit!!

Not too mention Battle.net which is already free is going to get a HUGE revamp. Insane.

Makes me wish my PC could play something better than solitare

yea seriously between newegg and tigerdirect you can build a TOP notch machine for 700-1000 like anon said but you can build one that will certainly run diablo for 400-500.

the new nividia 9600 and 9800 cards are ALREADY dropping to 199$ and 249$ respectively because they released the new generation 260 and 280 i believe. the 9600 and 9800 cards can run crysis on medium to high settings and that would be your biggest gouge out of making a machine. you can get the 8000 series cards for less 149$ now and save another 100$.

build your machines always and save tons of money.

I'm so pumped about this game. I still play Diablo 2 from time to time. And the changes they made to D3 look ridiculous. Cant wait for this game to drop.

Yes, it will. If you look at the video one of the 1st bosses tears off a guys head and throw his lifeless corpse off the side. I seriously got a boner watching it.

yes it will be free to play because you play it through battle.net Blizzard has stating they are revamping battle.net for SC2's release and obviously now we know because they planned D3 also. so its a win win for them.

Blizzard is the master of a subscription model. however this game should be exempt (hopefully, even though theyd make a killing on it if they charged)
