Note that this thread is not in NSFW. That means that any jokes about rampant rabbits, magic wands, anal beads, love eggs, vibrators, sybians, pocket pussies, butt plugs, vibrating cock-rings, love dolls, blow up dolls, phallic fruit or vegetables and your genitals themselves will result in execution.

Now that's out of the way, what toys did you love playing with when you were a kid?

For me Lego was the shit. I was given two huge storage boxes of Lego by my cousins at about 6 or 7 and I never stopped playing with it. I'd still build things now if it was socially acceptable. I look forward to having kids just so that I can build space ships out of Lego again.

Back in primary school a few of my friends and I started a lego war, where two groups would go to each other's houses and build an army. It was more of a cold war, really, as we spent weeks telling each other about our awesome new tank but we never actually got around to 'fighting'. The system for how we'd go about it was never really agreed on. I think the other team was intimidated by my nuclear weapons program and SAM systems. :giggles:

I'm sure I've still got the photos somewhere. I was lame.
*edit* Found them! They're awful quality but you get to see the general idea.
Image

Ooh, and this was my pride and joy. Probably one of the last thing I'd built as I used it to occupy myself when I was really depressed.

I used to whore the Bionicle series too. I loved those things! Got all of the Toa Nuva, the Bohroks/Bohrok Kal, Makuta, the Exo-suit, the Bohrok Queens and a few of the Matoran. The fact that I still know all of their names show how bad the obsession was.

Also the army Micro Machines sets were fun. I had the watch tower and the dam buster set. Plus a big-ass aircraft carrier that launched planes off of the front. That was great fun. With the dam buster you'd fill an upper reservoir with water and if you pressed a button the bridge would pop-off, letting the water flow down to the bottom. Good times.

Image

Also fell foul to the Pokemon card craze, but my mum threw them all out when I put them for safe keeping in a wicker bin. As you do. I'm still bitter about that now. :squint:

Hot Wheels Mach 5 = pure pwnage

Star wars action playsets I cant find sny pictures of any, but I had the Hoth set. I had a land speeder, a regular tie fighter, and an x wing too, with the flashing lights and genuine "pew pew pew" lasers and best of all I had Darth Vaders tie fighter with the cool wings.

Cuz that's how I rolled.

i dont know if i loved my lightbright more because of the pretty colours, or because i could use it to read at night & my parents wouldnt notice the light under the door.. >_> (my dorkism began at an early age)

i also collected horses. first this kind: Image (though i obviously didn't have this particular model..)
then a whole shittonne of these: Image which apparently are still very collectable and sell for a decent bit of cash.. hmmmm...

more proof that anon and I are actually the same person just schizophrenic split personalities.

legos, comic cards, baseball cards, pogs, etc.

also had a nutty chemistry set that I would just sit and mix shit with until I melted a hole in the concrete in the garage - my parents took it away after that.
