All your own interpretations that are very easily arguable into absurdity.

Also, grammar nazism in a debate. Top notch. Always the first resort of those with nothing to say.

And that is protecting the general welfare. Again, your interpretation is your own but assuming yours is right is the height of arrogance. There is no perfect translation of what these guys were trying to say, English had evolved- it's that simple.

As for Domestic Tranquility, it doesn't just refer to the military, that again is your own very limited interpretation. It is very important to this debate thus: how can a society that is unhealthy and getting sicker (statistically) be considered to be safe.

Furthermore, you completely ignored that you had wrote some retarded shit that said what you THOUGHT the government should and shouldn't do, but then again you have almost no argument except YAY PUBLIC OPTION so it's tough to really respond since I am for a Public Option. However, how can you be for a public option when you just said its the people's responibility to provide for their own basic needs?

Looking at both of your posts is almost schizophrenic in the change of your viewpoint.

Re-read this:

It is the people's responsibility to themselves and their children/families to provide the BASIC NEEDS. Do I think that it's great if the government can provide these things? Sure. I just don't think that it's their responsibility.

While I won't disagree that there can be many interpretations of the different terms in the Constitution, I'm entitled to my interpretation. Hence the idea of a debate. Again though...we're getting completely side-tracked. You and I have the same opinion of the public option. We're arguing for the same thing based on different reasons...make sense much?

Rule 348 of the Intarwebz: Never try to inject logic into a good flame war or political debate, it only slows the momentum and ruins the fun for everyone.
